A very dear friend was celebrating a birthday and there was no gift that he couldn't buy himself.  My research brought me to the conclusion that a singing gorilla with a gift basket was precisely the kind of surprise that would let him know just how special he really is.  And it was a hit - something that he remembers fondly to this day.
